NIGHT SHIFT NURSE (LPN OR RN)

Saint Mary’s Behavioral Health Center is seeking dedicated Night Shift Nurses (LPN or RN) to join its residential behavioral health team. This role is ideal for compassionate professionals who thrive in a team-based, client-centered environment and are passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs.

About the Role

The Nurse plays a critical role in patient care, serving as one of the first medical professionals to assess and support patients. This position involves providing routine nursing care, assisting with psychiatric and medical management, and contributing to treatment planning within a collaborative care team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Assist with medication management and administration
• Ensure adherence to universal precautions and safety protocols
• Facilitate health education groups (general health, medication, etc.)
• Observe and assess patients for clinical signs and symptoms
• Communicate patient concerns with the Director of Nursing
• Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning
• Educate patients on medical conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow physician directives
• Participate in training, in-service programs, and committees
• Maintain compliance with CPR, First Aid, and safety standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Nursing program
• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Georgia
• Minimum 1 year experience in mental health, psychiatric, or substance use settings preferred
• Current CPR certification
• No felony or substance abuse convictions within the last five years
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Schedule

Full-Time

Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Every other weekend required

Compensation

• LPN: $30 – $35 per hour
• RN: $35 – $40 per hour
