GEICO is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to join its team in the Dallas area. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in insurance claims who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making a meaningful impact during critical moments for policyholders.
About the Role
As an Experienced Claims Specialist, you will manage multiple aspects of the claims lifecycle, from investigation to resolution. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing guidance, support, and solutions while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
• Process and manage insurance claims efficiently and accurately
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with policyholders
• Investigate claims to determine coverage and identify potential fraud
• Provide solutions and support to customers during the claims process
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manage multiple claims and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
• 2+ years of Auto Liability Claims experience
• Active Texas All-Lines Adjuster License (4-20)
• High School Diploma required (college degree preferred)
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Schedule & Work Environment
• Initial 5-month in-office training
• Transition to hybrid schedule:
• Additional remote flexibility available through GEICO Flex Program
Compensation
$31.62 – $39.21 per hour
($63,714 – $79,000 annually)
Additional Pay Opportunities:
• $1,500 sign-on bonus (with active license)
• +10% evening shift differential
• +20% weekend shift differential
