PAYROLL ANALYST
Location: Arlington, TX (Hybrid – 3 days in office / 2 remote)

Andritz Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations across a large, diverse workforce. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong payroll expertise who can manage high-volume, multi-state payroll processing while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
About the Role
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 500 employees, including exempt, non-exempt, union, and craft labor staff. You will work closely with HR, accounting, and benefits teams to ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
• Gather and process payroll data including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments
• Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
• Perform data entry through uploads and manual entry into payroll systems
• Process certified payroll reports in compliance with Davis-Bacon and related regulations
• Respond to Federal and State tax notices and manage payroll tax registrations
• Handle garnishments, levies, and support orders
• Run and distribute payroll reports post-processing
• Generate standard and custom reports for finance and management
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries via email, phone, or in person
• Approve employee self-service tasks in ADP
• Collaborate with HR, accounting, and other internal departments
• Cross-train with payroll team members and support continuous process improvement
How You’ll Work
• Operate in a structured, high-volume payroll environment
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, and operations teams
• Manage sensitive payroll data with confidentiality and accuracy
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders
• Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively
Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of payroll administration experience
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) preferred
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred
• Knowledge of union payroll, prevailing wage, and certified payroll reporting preferred
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State wage and overtime laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify payroll discrepancies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred
• Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, or Concur
• Background in process improvement and payroll optimization
