CLOSING ASSISTANT MANAGER

Burger King is currently hiring a Closing Assistant Manager to help oversee evening operations and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly through closing time.

This role is responsible for supervising staff during the final shift, ensuring customer service standards are maintained, and completing all required closing procedures. The Closing Assistant Manager will also assist with team leadership, cash handling, and maintaining a safe and organized restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

End-of-Day Operations

• Supervise team members during final shift operations
• Ensure all customer orders are taken until closing time according to company policy
• Maintain service standards until the restaurant closes

Cleaning & Closing Procedures

• Ensure full restaurant cleaning and closing checklists are completed
• Verify kitchen equipment is properly shut down and cleaned
• Ensure food is properly stored or discarded following food safety guidelines

Cash Handling

• Complete register counts and safe counts
• Prepare and secure daily deposits
• Review cash variances and complete required documentation

Staff Supervision

• Ensure employees clock out properly
• Confirm all assigned tasks are completed before employees leave
• Address performance concerns or policy issues when necessary

Store Security

• Lock all doors and windows after closing
• Set the alarm system
• Secure all cash and sensitive materials

Additional Responsibilities

• Train and coach team members
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer concerns
• Maintain labor and food cost standards
• Communicate store updates and operational issues with the General Manager or District Manager
